Do I see a Three Day Weekend in My future?

Did I mention before that I love the weekends? Well I do, and when you work hard you have to play hard. Even though most of my playing used to involve some Coronas, and Margaritas... Its doesn't mean I still cant have fun.

I'm going to be 24 weeks this coming Tuesday. 6 months down, and about 3 and a half to go. I finally have a little belly. Its weird because about two weeks ago you would look at me and would not even be able to tell that I was pregnant. Now you can tell, I'm still small, and its all belly, but at least people don't give me the stank eye as much as they did before when I told them I'm almost 6 months. The little baby boy decided that the world needed to notice him a little more. Getting bigger is strange, and I honestly do not really like it at all, but its all part of the process, and I know I still have so much more to go.......

I'm planning on going to the A's game this Saturday with Eddie ( he has the weekend off! again :) Its firework night, so it should be fun. Other than that I really don't have too many plans. I need to do my baby registry. It should be fun, but I really have no clue what I'm doing.... I've been told not to get the wipe warmers :)

I finished my class at school for the semester, and got a B. Not an A, which I was hoping for, but its been a weird couple of months, so I still feel good about it. I signed up for a summer class, and one online fall class. I will be having the baby right in beginning of the semester, and I know it will be tough, but I took the easiest class I have left. Getting a Business degree involves a lot of math.... I do not like math, but I'm determined to get that degree!!

The Festives

So we were able to pull it off. First party at the new house in honor of Arielle turning 6. Lots of people came, and i was so happy to see every ones faces. People were able to see and enjoy our new home, and the kids had a blast.

The morning started off with rain, and cold weather, so I decided to call off the big jumper we ordered. About 30 minutes after I cancelled the jumper the sun started to shine..... So I thought it wouldn't hurt to try and see if they will still bring it. The good news is that the company is located close, and they were able to bring the jumper last minute!! The kids had a blast jumping around, and burning off all that cake, candy, and food. It never rained either :)

Things seem to always work out. Thank you everyone who made it, and look forward to more events at the house this year.

A Battle or a Gift?

Every day I come into work, and I ask the question? Hows the battle going? Someone than asked me... What battle? I replied with the daily battle, everything is a battle, but it can come in good or bad.  A week later the same person tells me that in church the pastor was talking about how life has daily battles..... So now they believe me, but they had to hear from church.

Live is a constant battle. Of course a lot of good things come out of these battles, but it doesn't come easy. My grandma told me about a week ago, that if life was easy, and there were no struggles, you wouldn't appreciate the easier, and more simple times in life. I 100% agree with this. I have worked very hard to get where I am today, and I would never change anything that I have experienced or gone through to get here.

Waiting For The News!

So the results in are!!

That's right! I'm having a baby boy! I knew it as soon as I looked up at the screen. He was not afraid to show his boy parts to us! Whats so cool about the fact that I will be having a boy is that he will be the first boy grand baby, great grand baby, and nephew!

The baby is healthy, and all the necessary parts are there, looks like I'm on my way to having a healthy strong baby, and in the end that's all that matters to me :)

When I first found I I was pregnant I thought I was having a girl, until recently I started having the feeling that in fact I was not careening a girl, but that I will be having a little baby boy. I guess my intuition was right.

Now that I know that I'm going to bring a little monster into the world I can start thinking about the nursery. I'm thinking I want to do a safari theme. With Lions, Tigers, Elephants, Giraffe's, Zebras, well you get the idea. I want to look like you stepped into a a little safari. I think its a great theme for a boy. I want to think it over a little more, but I'm really leaning towards that :)

Eddie and I got to take Lil Eddie and Arielle to T-ball today and we let them know that they will be having a new baby brother. Arielle cried... and I think Lil Eddie was just surprised he was wrong.. lol. They will be fine. They both were rooting for a baby sister.

Here are a few more pictures of the little one. Its just so exciting and so real!
